Michelle picked out a 16 G 1-1/4" Medical Grade Surgical Steel Barbell with 1/8" balls. She decided to keep it simple with the barbell because she already has some decorations on that ear. Not a bad choice Michelle!

Do you see how there's a little bit of room on either side of the barbell? That room allows for a little bit of swelling and makes it easier for cleaning. Very nice angle!
